Dr. Pete Lahti
Dr. Pete Lahti brings an exceptional combination of academic achievement, advanced training, and genuine compassion to his role as owner of Timberline Dental. Raised in Lincoln City, Oregon, Dr. Lahti graduated first in his class at both Lewis & Clark College and the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry. Throughout his education, he earned numerous honors recognizing his excellence in academics, clinical dentistry, ethics, and professionalism. Since graduating from dental school, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in areas such as dental implants, oral surgery, sedation, extractions, and endodontics, allowing him to provide a wide range of advanced treatment options for his patients.
For Dr. Lahti, dentistry is the perfect blend of helping others and embracing a rewarding challenge. He is passionate about improving lives by relieving pain, restoring confidence, and helping patients enjoy healthier smiles. He believes great dentistry requires not only technical skill, but also compassion, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to learning. Whether helping someone overcome a toothache or achieve a smile they have always wanted, Dr. Lahti takes pride in providing care that makes a meaningful difference in his patients’ daily lives.
What Dr. Lahti enjoys most is building genuine relationships with the people he serves. He loves learning about his patients’ families, careers, hobbies, and personal stories, and strives to make every visit feel welcoming and personal. As he begins this new chapter with Timberline Dental, he looks forward to becoming a trusted part of the Cottage Grove community and serving generations of local families. Outside the office, Dr. Lahti enjoys staying active through weightlifting, basketball, and flag football, spending time with his wife of nearly a decade, and enjoying life with their beloved cat, Blue. His strong family values, warm personality, and dedication to helping others are at the heart of everything he does.
Our Team
Elin
Elin can be found at the front desk. Although she has experience working with most insurance plans and different fee schedules, she spends her time scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, explaining treatment options, and performing all the other front desk duties. She is a busy gal! Elin grew up in Eugene but has been a resident of Cottage Grove since 2021. Outside of work, Elin likes to hunt, fish, snowboard, paddleboard, and shop!
Caley
Caley is a dental hygienist who has been with Timberline Dental since 2020. She was born and raised in Cottage Grove and was a pharmacy tech before becoming a dental hygienist. Caley has a very gentle touch and strives to put her patients’ comfort level first. She is a busy mom of 3 kids. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy hiking, visiting the Oregon coast, and watching their kids play sports.
Aubrey
Aubrey is a dental hygienist who has been with Timberline Dental since 2016. She was born and raised in Cottage Grove and appreciates living in a small community. As a busy mom of three, when not working, Aubrey enjoys her children’s many activities. With her caring nature and gentle touch, she has developed quite a following of patients.
Cindee
Cindee is the lead assistant at Timberline Dental and has been with the team since 2007. She grew up here in Cottage Grove and knows many of the patients who come to the office. She is always happy and cheerful with patients and works hard to make them feel relaxed. She is a very kind and gentle person and knows how to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. Cindee is an avid lover of animals; she especially loves taking care of her cats in her spare time.
Bralynn
Bralynn is a certified dental assistant, but most often you’ll find her working at the front desk. She is our insurance billing specialist and is familiar with most insurance plans. She loves living in Cottage Grove and enjoys hiking and photography in her spare time.
Honoring Dr. Shane Parsons’ Legacy
For more than a decade, Dr. Shane Parsons proudly served the Cottage Grove community as the owner and lead dentist of Timberline Dental. After purchasing the practice in 2012, he built a reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality care while developing lasting relationships with generations of local families. Throughout his career, Dr. Parsons remained committed to continuing education, advanced technology, and delivering exceptional dental experiences for his patients.
As Dr. Parsons transitions out of practice ownership, Timberline Dental remains committed to the same patient-centered values and high standards of care he established. We are grateful for his years of dedication to our community and are honored to continue caring for the patients and families who have trusted Timberline Dental for so many years. Patients can feel confident knowing the practice remains focused on providing the personalized, hometown dental care they have come to expect.
